Davisco headquartered in Le Sueur, MN will be hosting a Korean Trade Mission on February 23rd
LE SUEUR, Minn.-February 9, 2000 – Davisco Foods International, Inc. headquartered in Le Sueur, MN will be hosting a Korean Trade Mission on February 23rd in Le Sueur and Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The US Dairy Export Council is organizing the Korean trade Mission and requested a visit to Davisco Foods International, Inc. Mhairi Anderson, Research and Application coordinator for the US Dairy Export Council will be guiding the Korean Mission. David Curta, International Sales Manager for Davisco Foods International will be hosting the Korean Mission in Minnesota.
Plant tours will be conducted at Davisco manufacturing facilities in Le Sueur. MN – Le Sueur Cheese and the Food ingredient Co. Following the plant tours. The Korean mission will visit the Application technical Center in Eden Prairie, MN for a technical whey protein presentation. Laurie Nelson, Application Manger will be demonstrating the functional and nutritional capabilities of whey proteins in dairy applications such as yogurt and nutritional beverages.
The Korean Mission will be comprised of six major sports drink and yogurt manufacturers from Korea. The purpose of the visit to Davisco is to increase technical knowledge of the use of whey proteins in dairy products. One of the six companies participating in the Mission is Lotte, a major dairy company in Korea, with annual sales of $12 billion.
