Davisco Foods International, Inc. is pleased to announce the following appointments.
Michael Bednarek was named National Sales Manager. He will be responsible for sales of Davisco Foods' specialty whey protein isolates and whey protein fractions to national accounts. He will also be involved in the commercialization of BioZate® 1, shown to significantly reduce hypertension. Bednarek was most recently Sales Development Manager for Nutrinova, Inc. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Science from St. John's University. Bednarek has also taken additional coursework in Food Science at the University of Minnesota.
Angela Broadwater was named Marketing Assistant. She will conduct market research and work on promotional and advertising campaigns with both Davisco Foods and the Whey Protein Institute. Broadwater was most recently employed with the Fastenal Company in Product Development. She joins Davisco as a recent college graduate; Broadwater earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Business last May from the College of St. Benedict/St. John's University.
Sean Fogarty was named Customer Service Manager. He will be the primary contact for customer order information. Fogarty will be in charge of processing orders, coordinating receivables information, and updating weekly sales. He most recently sold commercial printing in Las Vegas, Nevada. Previously, he was part of the daily operations of the Fogarty Family Dairy Farm, which produced milk for Le Sueur Cheese for twenty years. Fogarty is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas, where he received a B.A. in accounting.
